High Court to rule on Anyang' Nyong'o election petition on January 3

The High Court in Kisumu is set to deliver a judgment on January 3, 2018 in an election petition filed against Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o. Former governor Jack Ranguma filed the petition on September 6 contesting Prof Nyong’o’s election. PETITION The respondents in the case were Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Prof Nyong'o and Kisumu County Returning Officer John Cox Lorionokou.
