Kenyan steals KSh 137 million in Dubai,flees

Police in Dubai, United Arab Emirates are on the manhunt for a Kenyan security guard. The security guard who is yet to be named is said to have stolen 5 million Dirham (KSh 137 million). The security guard was with his colleagues before distracting them and fleeing with the cash Dubai authorities are hunting down a security guard of Kenyan descent after he stole KSh 137 million and disappeared. TUKO.co.ke understands that the guard intercepted a vehicle ferrying money at a mall in Dubai on Saturday, March 3 then proceeded to flee. His identity has not yet been revealed. According to the gulf news, the security guard lied that he had gone to the restroom but was not seen again after that. According to the Khaleej Times, the security officer distracted his colleagues at the mall after the vehicle that was transporting the money had stopped for a while. The vehicle was supposed to take the money to an ATM. The heist was reported to have gone down at around 10.30pm.
