A Western region governor’s penchant for funerals in his county has left residents baffled. The county boss, it is understood, attends several burials a week, and weekends are especially busy for him. One recent Saturday, the first term Governor visited seven different homesteads to mourn with the bereaved.   An aide of the county chief who spoke to The Grapevine said pleas to his boss to slow down fell on deaf ears. He said that the county CEO insisted that he had warmed his way to the hearts of the voters in the region by attending funerals, and he won’t stop now!
