Man busted stilling clothes by wearing them during Nakumatt Nyali foul eviction

Locals took the chance to scramble for a few items as Nakumatt was thrown out of Nyali City Mall for not paying rent. A few individuals found the opportunity ripe to loot as the goods were being taken out of the shop to be auctioned. The retailer owed the mall rent arrears accumulating to Sh27.8 million prompting the landlord to take the matter to the courts. Mombasa Law Court gave the eviction order. During the ugly removal, a man was caught stealing cloths. He was nabbed wearing five checked shirts, two coats and two pairs of jeans trousers. It is alleged that he had been contracted to help in removing the commodities from the building. When confronted by the police, the man said he was not stealing the apparel but just wanted to enjoy the feeling of expensive cloths.
