ODM sets team to investigate why it flopped in 2017 elections

The five-member task force will look at how the party performed in the 2017 general election and on how to win many seats in future polls. The team will also look at the effects of the party's decision to join the coalition NASA. The team is expected to conclude its work in 90 days and present a report, said Secretary General Edwin Sifuna. The Orange party's 2017 nominations were marred with chaos and outright rigging leaving some candidates dejected. The party also did not manage to get as many seats as possible as has been the case in past elections. The party also produced a presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, who was defeated by Jubilee Uhuru Kenyatta Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) appointed Catherine Mumma to chair a five-member task force to audit the performance of the party in the 2017 elections.
