Pink Shares a Powerful Message About Parenthood After Crying With Another Mom at the Grocery Store

Pink is, hands-down, one of our favorite celebrity moms, because she's just so darn candid. Whether she's talking about her eldest, Willow riding her bike "inside ... without clothes" or sharing a behind-the-scenes shot of her post-baby workout or pumping routine, she is always making it clear that she's just doing her best -- like most parents! Turns out, all that honesty has really hit home for other mothers, as the 38-year-old mama's latest tweet proves. Early today, Thursday, December 28, the singer took to Twitter to share, "A really sweet Mama came up 2me tonight at the grocery store and told me some nice words about how she gets strength from my parenting cause I’m not afraid to f—k up in public. We cried together. It’s so hard. Ya’ll. I wish us mamas could give ourselves and each other a break.” If Pink's retelling of the tear-jerking moment makes you want to reach for some tissues, you're not alone. It is so hard, and having one another as a support system is beyond important. At the same time, so too is being able to give yourself credit for all the things you do and stop beating yourself up for the things that maybe aren't "perfect," but really do not need to be.  Tons of Twitter followers agreed, thanked Pink, and shared similar stories.  In just hours, the tweet has been retweeted more than 5K times. It's so awesome that the mom of two continues to use her fame to spread this empowering, compassionate message to other mothers. More power to Pink -- and every mom who's speaking up and leaning on others for the support she needs and deserves.
