Following the symbolic meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA Chief Raila Odinga at Harambee House, Kenyans have trooped online to share their views on the same. Social media pages are dotted with congratulatory messages to the two leaders for putting the country’s interest before themselves. The meeting was the first time the two were sitting down together since their fallout following the Presidential elections last year. Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta later joined netizens updating their pages with agenda their meeting; that it was to deliberate on issues affecting the country. However, a few things stood out in the posts.  Other than the revelation that in the meeting they found out that Kenya is greater than any individual, the duo also referred to each other as ‘brothers.’ A number of Kenyans took on the brotherhood spirit and urged fellow citizens to also see one another as ‘brothers’ irrespective of their political differences. But as always, there are those Kenyans who are never short of drama: Great! Now @FredMatiangi needs to announce a public holiday for National Brotherhood(ness) to be commemorated on a day like today every year, we can't allow any sole individual to let this pass just like that, u feel me????? God is LOVE, may he use the two of you to bring Kenya together again. @UKenyatta @RailaOdinga @EAukot Thank you Patriots @UKenyatta @RailaOdinga pic.twitter.com/LajgOVMoiQ Kenya is United again! ???????????? thank you your Excellency @UKenyatta and opposition leader @RailaOdinga For the first time after one year, we have both NASA and Jubilee supporters commenting positively on the twitter handles of either sides. Truly there is power in talking and show of unity. #UhuruRailaTalks #RailaUhuruTalk #HarambeeHouseTalks #Resist
