Angalau Wakenya 1,300 wanahudumia vifungo vya jela kwa mataifa ya kigeni kwa makosa tofauti.Katika yao, 478 wamehukumiwa katika nchi tofauti huku 80 wakihudumia vifungo vya nchini Uchina.Waziri wa maswala ya nje Monica Juma alisema serikali itaendelea kuhakikisha kuw araia wa Kenya walio nje ya nchi wako salama Wengi wa Wakenya wanaohudumia vifungo vya jela kwenye nchi za kigeni ni wale walio nchini Uchina, waziri wa maswala ya nje Monica Juma amesema. Waziri Monica Juma aliyasema hayo alipozindua sera za Kenya kuhusu mambo ya kigeni siku ya Alhamisi, March 8 ambapo alinukuliwa na gazeti la Nation akisema kuwa haikuwa makosa kwa Wakenya kufungwa jela katika nchi za kigeni. “Si jambo lililo la kawaida kwa Wakenya kufungwa katika nchi za kigeni. Tumefanya mazungumzo kuwarejesha baadhi ya wafungwa hao na inachukua muda.” Monica alisema. Juma alisema kuwa serikali itaendelea kuhakikisha usalama wa Wakenya popote walipo. Habari Nyingine: “Tunajitahidi kuwalinda Wakenya popote walipo na tutaendelea kubuni mbinu za kuwalinda waliko.” Monica Juma aliongeza. Juma ambaye alichukuwa nafasi wa waziri Amina Mohamed kuiongoza wizara hiyo alisema kuna hofu kuwa waliokamatwa ugenini wanaweza kulazimishwa kuishi kwa mazingira mabaya. Habari Nyingine: “Ikiwa Mkenya yeyote atakamatwa au kufungwa kabla ya sisi kuarifiwa, ni lazima tutalalamika kwa kuwa hilo litakiuka sheria ya kimataifa.” Waziri huyo alisema.
