Shock as teacher and wife are murdered in Kericho

A somber mood engulfed Chesingoro location in Bureti Sub-County after a couple was found murdered in cold blood.

Police have launched investigations into the murder of a teacher and his wife in Litein, Kericho County.

The assailants are said to have broken into the couple’s bedroom and committed the heinous act before fleeing.

Villagers report that neither the children nor the neighbors heard the commotion and only woke up to find the lifeless bodies of the duo  with deep cuts on various parts of their bodies.

No arrest has so far been made and the motive of the killing could not be immediately established.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to Kaptatet Hospital mortuary.
